it's that time of year...

the time of year that is laden with no MLS soccer. =( ... i spose having an NFL LA team would help...but for now it's trying to watch sports that don't mean as much to me anymore. even the NBA regular season bores me to death.

anyway...it's almost time for me to start writing and finishing my dissertation... it's next week or bust... time to buckle down

first day back...

at work was today... it was meh... lots of things were meh... but as usual, i'm excited to teach. thursday students come in and i get my new TA (kinda like a homeroom). yes they are freshman... yes this should be interesting...

anyway, i hope they fire bob bradley soon... i really think us soccer needs someone to develop some flair and skill and brain to go with the heart the players show...

fantasy football season is upon us...mmm...yay!

galaxy play @ the red bull on saturday... it's going to be a good game... least i think so: marquez, henry, angel and company vs donovan, buddle, gonzalez and company... watch it people. Fox Soccer Channel @ 330pm...

guess that's it for now..i swear i just saw mike piazza in a duralast comercial
